LPK Congress Focuses on Competitiveness, Geopolitics and Lithuania’s Economic Future
On May 12, the 14th Congress of the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists (LPK) took place in Vilnius, bringing together business leaders, ministers, vice-ministers and experts to discuss Lithuania’s competitiveness, investment climate, geopolitics, energy and logistics challenges.
Opening the Congress, LPK President Vidmantas Janulevičius stressed that energy security, geopolitics, investment and competitiveness have once again become central issues for Europe and Lithuania.
The event featured the “Lithuanian Exporter of the Year 2025” awards, as well as special recognitions for Rimantas Juška, Gintaras Morkis and Edita Janušienė.
A key highlight of the Congress was the discussion “From the Strait of Hormuz to the Baltic Shores: How Geopolitics is Rewriting Our Economy?”, focusing on the impact of geopolitical tensions on Europe’s competitiveness, energy prices, logistics and investment environment.
LPK Director General Raminta Radavičienė also presented the organization’s annual activity report, highlighting LPK’s growing role in strengthening competitiveness, economic resilience and international business representation.
